CEM is concentrated on areas of critical environmental and societal impact including industrial impacts to wetlands, streams, rivers, creeks, and endangered species habitats, climate change, youth education, regenerative agriculture, sustainable groundwater resources, and sustainable economic development. CEM is focused on the ever-increasing acute water shortages in specific areas of Texas and surrounding states as we seek to ensure continuity of service to local food and water supplies that have been negatively affected by climate change and explosive, unforeseen population growth. The non-linear population growth in lower cost, lower tax, pro-business jurisdictions will undoubtedly stress our environment, society, and climate at accelerated rates. We intend to develop and grow our environmentally sustainable private equity firm into a cornerstone of this new frontier of impact investing.
